Native app

The native app supports iPhone and Mac workflows for photos, Live Photos, videos, PDFs, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files. It also includes the Share Extension, Shortcuts/App Intents, the widget, StoreKit Premium, and the DeviceCheck-backed free-export allowance.

Browser companion

The browser cleaner supports selected image and video formats and performs its cleaning in your browser. It has no sign-in, account, subscription, or account-based export quota. Browser capabilities vary by format and codec.

Useful details to include

• Your platform, OS version, and Metadata Cleaner version/build or browser version.
• The file type, such as HEIC, JPG, PNG, Live Photo, MOV, MP4, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, or PPTX.
• The steps you took and what happened while importing, inspecting, cleaning, saving, sharing, or restoring.
• For purchase help, whether you used Purchase or Restore and whether both devices use the same Apple Account.

Please do not send an original private file or sensitive metadata unless you deliberately decide it is necessary. The native support draft shows its diagnostics and Support ID before you send it, and you can edit or remove them.
